Terms of Service

Last updated: August 21, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of dIme ("the Service"), a time-tracking and invoicing application available at dimetracker.pro. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

dIme lets you track working time, organize projects, generate invoices, record mileage, export records, use optional calendar-assisted tracking, and — if you connect a Stripe account — offer card payment links on your invoices. The Service is provided for professional use by freelancers, consultants, and small businesses.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement to use the Service. You sign in with a Google account and are responsible for maintaining its security and for all activity under it. You must provide accurate business information; invoices you generate are your documents, issued by you to your clients.

3. Fees and Billing

The Service costs $9 per month, or $90 per year if you choose annual billing (equivalent to two months free), billed by Stripe. Annual subscriptions are charged once for the full year and renew annually. Eligible new accounts start with a 14-day free trial; a payment card is collected at sign-up and the first charge occurs automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel first. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period — monthly or annually, per the plan you chose — until canceled. You can cancel anytime from Configure → Manage Billing; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Except where law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable and no partial-month refunds are issued. If a renewal payment fails and cannot be collected, access may be suspended until billing is resolved. Prices may change with at least 30 days' notice before your next renewal.

4. Payments and Stripe

Card payments are processed by Stripe, not by dIme. To accept card payments you must connect your own Stripe account, and your use of Stripe is governed by Stripe's own agreements, including the Stripe Connected Account Agreement. Payments made by your clients go directly to your Stripe account. dIme is not a party to the transaction between you and your clients, does not hold funds, and is not responsible for chargebacks, refunds, disputes, taxes, or the goods and services you bill for.

5. Your Content

Your time entries, projects, invoices, client details, calendar linkage, and meeting notes remain yours. You grant dIme only the rights needed to store and process that data to operate the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the content you store, including having the right to record any client or meeting information you enter or sync.

6. Service ownership

dIme, including its software, design, branding and documentation, is owned by the Service operator or its licensors. These Terms grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your own professional purposes while your account is authorized. They do not transfer ownership of the Service or permit copying, resale, reverse engineering or creation of a competing service from dIme's code or non-public features, except where such restrictions are prohibited by law.

7. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to issue fraudulent invoices, to bill for unlawful goods or services, to violate Stripe's prohibited business rules, to probe or disrupt the Service's infrastructure, or to access another user's data.

8. Third-party services

The Service interoperates with providers such as Google Calendar, Firebase, Stripe, Netlify, Granola, Gemini and, if you allow optional advertising measurement, Meta. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. dIme is not responsible for third-party outages, account decisions or changes to third-party services.

Calendar-assisted prompts are based on scheduled event data and your monitoring filters and may be late, missing, duplicated or inaccurate because of connectivity, calendar changes, no-shows, overlapping events, timezone settings or third-party limitations. dIme does not automatically treat a scheduled event as proof that billable work occurred. You must review and approve every time entry and invoice before relying on or sending it. If you enable Calendar scheduling, you are responsible for reviewing meeting times and attendee addresses before confirming; confirmation may immediately create the Google Calendar event and send invitations on your behalf.

9. Privacy and optional campaign measurement

The Privacy Policy explains how information is handled. Essential storage is required to operate the Service. Meta advertising measurement and first-party campaign attribution are optional, remain off until you allow them, and can be refused or withdrawn through Privacy Choices without affecting app access. Agreeing to these Terms does not itself constitute consent to optional advertising tracking.

10. Availability and Changes

The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. Features may change, and the Service may be interrupted for maintenance or circumstances beyond our control. We encourage you to use the built-in export tools to keep your own copies of important records.

11. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. dIme is a record-keeping tool, not an accounting, tax, or legal advisor; exported reports do not constitute professional advice.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, dIME AND ITS OPERATOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. IN ALL CASES, TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AND (B) FIFTY U.S. DOLLARS.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings; deletion permanently removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for the Service or other users.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the current version, and continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
